Visitors are welcome to the TTU Swine Unit. They must follow biosecurity procedures and sign-in upon arrival. Visitors to the unit cannot enter the holding pens or touch pigs.

Anyone who will physically handle the pigs will need to be Pork Quality Assurance (PQA) certified. Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) approval is required for research or teaching using pigs. Please fill out and submit required IACUC forms before beginning your research or class.

Once you complete this animal request form, please do not forget to send your PQA certificates and approved IACUC protocols to Dr. John McGlone.
