Robly Glover (MFA)
Professor of Jewelry Design + Metalsmithing
Robly Glover has exhibited since 1987 with work in approximately 183 nationally jurored exhibitions. His work was featured on the cover and in an eight page article in Metalsmith Magazine: Robly Glover: Pragmatic Archetypes, Winter 2002. His work is in numerous museum collections including: Victoria and Albert Museum -London, Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum – Washington DC (3 works), The Art Institute of Chicago- Chicago, Illinois, The Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender, and Reproduction Fine Art Collection – Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana(4 works), Yale Silver Collection New Haven, Connecticut (1), and the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas, Texas. In 2003 he was awarded the President's Excellence in Teaching Award at Texas Tech University. His students have distinguished themselves nationally throughout the field of jewelry design and metalsmithing.
