The theme for volume 19 (1999) was Dialogue as Empowered
Pedagogy. Jan. 15, 1999 was the deadline for submission. The theme
for volume 20 (2000) will be decided by attending members at the CSTAE
Annual Business meeting on Saturday, 3/27/99, 5-5:50 p.m. in Hilton Conference
Room 326. in Washington DC. October 1, 1999 is the deadline for volume
20 submissions of articles, images, and reviews of books, video/films, performance/action
pieces, and exhibitions. Images and visual research may be submitted. Membership
is not a precondition for submittance. Please send black and white or color
images no larger than 8" x 10" in either photographic, original,
digital, or slide form. Original manuscripts, including an abstract, should
be prepared according to the APA (4th ed.) style. Please place your name
on a separate paper to help facilitate anonymous review. Please send images
and/or four paper copies to: Editor: Yvonne Gaudelius, The Pennsylvania State University, ymg100@psu.edu Journal Process and Timetable: The journal is mailed each June to current CSTAE members. Please contact the editor for further questions or to offer your services as a reviewer. CSTAE members decide the theme for each year's journal at the CSTAE Annual Business meeting at the NAEA conference each spring. The deadline for submissions to the JSTAE is October 1 for the next year's journal. Gallery images and book reviews are often accepted later than the Oct.ober 1 deadline. Editors serve two year terms. Yvonne Gaudelius, ymg100@psu.edu is currently servng her second year term as editor for volume 19 (1999) and for volume 20 (2000). In the spring of 2000 the Executive Board will select a new editor for volumes 21 and 22.
