Dr. Ed. Check is committed to empowering individuals and communities through art and education. One of the first self-identified gay art educators in the US, Dr. Check co-founded the Caucus for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Queer Issues in the National Art Education Association.
