The Western Literature Association (WLA) will hold its 47th Annual Conference at Lubbock's Overton Hotel Nov. 7-10.Texas Tech University Associate English Professor Sara Spurgeon is WLA President and spearheaded the effort to hold the convention in Lubbock.
