Jane Winer and Janie Blount Honored
Jane Winer, Dean Emeritus and Janie Blount, former Manager of Finance and Administration of the College of Arts and Sciences were honored in a reception at the National Ranching and Heritage Center on Friday May 1. The event, which was well attended by colleagues and friends from across the campus and the community, provided a fitting tribute to Jane and Janie for their many years of distinguished service.
President Guy Bailey and Provost Bob Smith paid tribute to Dean Winer. Other speakers paying tribute to Jane and Janie included Otto Nelson, former Associate Dean, Susan Hendrick, Horn Professor of Psychology, and Rob Stewart, Interim Senior Vice Provost.
