Students should file a degree plan when they've determined their program of study; a degree plan is required once students have 45 earned hours. Intentions to graduate are submitted at the time a degree plan is filed. The degree analysts in the Dean's Office will audit degree plans and inform students of their progress toward a degree, and notify students of graduation arrangements.
Analyst meetings are on a walk-in basis. No appointments are necessary.
For information on analysts and their office hours, please visit their official page on the Arts & Sciences website.
Students who be graduating in the upcoming semester will need to complete graduation advising with their assigned degree analyst before pre-registration for that semester begins. Students who fail to complete graduation advising before pre-registration begins will be unable to register for courses.
Course advising holds must be cleared by your academic advisor prior to pre-registration every semester. Considering your plans for the upcoming terms before meeting with your advisor will streamline your advising session, so please have a general idea of your plans for summer and fall before contacting your advisor.
Students who fail to complete graduation and/or course advising before pre-registration begins will be unable to register for courses.
