Educational Interests

I specialize in the development and implementation of curriculum in the laboratory setting.

My interests focus on the development and improvement of curriculum for both Biology and non-Biology majors.
In specific, for non-Biology majors, I continue to work to improve the curriculum for the lab of BIOL 1402, Biology of Animals. This course is an introductory coverage of animal-environment interactions and animal structure, function, and behavior as they relate to our understanding of the animal world.

For Biology majors, I also oversee the management and improvement the lab for BIOL 1403, Biology I, which is our department's fundamentals of molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, and evolutionary theory class.

Additionally, I also manage and improve the lab for BIOL 1404, Biology II, our department's fundamentals of organismal biology, population biology, and biological diversity for Biology and related majors.
