Texas Tech University's annual Undergraduate Research Conference (URC) is a two-day gathering of students, faculty, and staff who come together to learn, grow, and be inspired. Whether you're presenting or an active participant, the URC is a wonderful professional development and networking opportunity for you.
Texas Tech University Students
Texas Tech University Students are asked to register for the conference after being accepted to present at the Undergraduate Research Conference. Presenter registration will be open February 8, 2018 through March 8, 2018.
TTU students who register by the March 8, 2018 deadline will not have to pay conference registration fees.
TTU students who register during the March 9-21, 2018 late-registration period will pay a $35 late fee.
We invite students from outside of Texas Tech University to attend and/or showcase their work at the Undergraduate Research Conference.
The conference registration fee for visiting students is $35 through the March 8, 2018 registration deadline.
Visiting students who register during the March 9-21, 2018 late-registration period will pay an additional $35 late fee.
TTU/TTUHSC Faculty, Staff, and Graduate Students are invited to serve as a reviewer for 2018 TTU URC. Reviewer registration will open in early December 2017.
Reviewers will be assigned up to six specific presentations to evaluate based on a set rubric. During the registration process you will have the opportunity to choose the day, format of presentation (poster, oral, or both), and areas of research you prefer to evaluate.
PLEASE NOTE! You will be asked to review projects from disciplines that may not be within, or closely related to, your filed of expertise. This is an intentional aspect of the TTU URC as we strive to provide presenters the opportunity to communicate their research to a variety of audiences.
TTU Students and Staff
Texas Tech University students who are interested in research are invited to serve as volunteers during the 2018 TTU URC. Volunteer registration will open in early December 2017.
Staff members whose availability may prevent them from serving as a reviewer are also encouraged to volunteer.
TTU Students Groups
Student groups, clubs, or organizations that are interested in volunteering during the TTU URC should contact the Center for Active Learning and Undergraduate Engagement directly to coordinate scheduling.
Visiting students are invited to bring a spouse, significant other, friend, or relative to the conference. Non-Presenter registration is no longer open.
A conference registration fee of $35 will be required for all attendees who are not TTU system students that would like to participate in conference activities.
