Thank you for your interest in the Texas Tech Internship Program. This is an exciting opportunity for Texas Tech students as well as businesses. We are looking forward to working with you to make this a positive experience for both you and the students who will intern with your company.

Please find on our website a sample internship provider outline. Each business will have specific things to add and /or delete depending on the nature of its everyday functions. The sample can be used in its entirety or can simply be a springboard to develop what works for you.

The Texas Tech Career Center can provide a listing of all internship opportunities on Experience, a computer program designed to aid both employers and students in job and internship placement. As an employer you can log on to Experience at any time to check student resumes, cover letters, and to run a search to see which students fit the criteria you are looking for in an intern or potential employee. Students can log on and see what internships or jobs are available and what companies will be interviewing on campus. Please take advantage of this service to locate intern students who will best fit your company’s needs by registering with the Texas Tech Career Center (742-2210).

Another way to advertise your internship is by being a part of Texas Tech’s annual Career Expo (Fall) and Career Gateway (Spring). You are also welcome to interview students for internships on campus at the Career Center. Please contact the Career Center for more details about each of these things.
