Where is University Career Center located?
We are located on the southeast corner of the Wiggins Complex. Wiggins is located West of the Chitwood Weymouth dorms and East of the Law School. You can view the campus map. Select Career Services, University to locate Wiggins.
Do students have to schedule an appointment to utilize UCC services?
Students must make an appointment for mock interviews and to discuss the results of career assessments, and are highly encouraged to make them for resume and cover letter critiques.
The UCC also offers walk-in hours on Resume Critique Days twice a semester. For more information, please see our events page.
Can a UCC professional make a presentation to my class or student organization about career development?
Yes, the UCC staff is available for presentations. Please request a presentation at least two weeks in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, and include the date, time, and subject of the presentation you would like for your event.
My students are required to provide proof of participating in a mock interview. Is a review of the student's performance provided?
Any of our staff can provide a written critique through our standardized rubric. Due to the volume of our mock interviews, not all students are required to have a written review of their critique, so please inform your students to let us know they need the rubric.
