Myers-Briggs Type Indicator

- The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is used world-wide for educational, business, marketing, team-building and personal development.
- This assessment is used in Career Counseling to assist in determining the best "environmental fit" for an individual. It outlines various suitable occupations and characteristics of workplace structure that may enhance an individual's ability to perform well in a given occupation.
- May be obtained through a Career Professional at University Career Services.
Holland Self-Directed Search (SDS)
- A widely used career assessment providing a broad overview of the world of work, people, and occupations.
- Provides a "Holland Code" (Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, Conventional).
- A person's code is matched to various occupational choices.
- Paper and pencil administration (approx. 30-40 minutes).
- May be obtained through a Career Professional at University Career Services.
