Focus Lubbock

Focus Lubbock meets once a month, typically on

Focus Lubbock is a program sponsored by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and the Division of Student Affairs at Texas Tech University. Students from Texas Tech University, South Plains College, Lubbock Christian University, and Wayland Baptist join together to learn about Lubbock. Students selected will have an opportunity to evaluate their current understandings and opinions of Lubbock as they take daylong adventures into our community. The goal of Focus Lubbock is to develop a cohesive group of leaders with diverse backgrounds and strengths who are committed to servant leadership and service to positively shape the future of Lubbock. Focus Lubbock is a year-long commitment.

Fridays from September to April, for daylong adventures into our community focusing on learning about community issues and opportunities. Similar to the Leadership Lubbock program hosted by the Chamber of Commerce for professionals in our community, Focus Lubbock is a group of 20 college student leaders in Lubbock.
