Accommodations
One Day RRO Sessions (January, May, July, August)
No campus housing will be available for these RRO sessions. Lodging and travel information can be found at www.visitlubbock.org.
Three Day RRO Sessions (June and July)
Students will be required to stay in the residence halls during their entire RRO session. The Orientation fee will cover housing and meals during RRO. Check out the student rooms!
Parents and family will have the option to stay on campus.On campus housing will include meals. Check out the Parent & Family rooms!
Costs associated with Parent and Family housing are as follows:
Transportation
One Day RRO Sessions (January, May, July, August)
No airport shuttle will be available for our one day RRO sessions. For information on traveling to campus, please visit www.visit.ttu.edu/travel.asp.
Three Day RRO Sessions (June and July)
Day 1 - The RRO airport shuttle will run from 09:00 am - 12:30 pm. The shuttle will run between the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport and Hulen/Clement Residence Hall. Meet an Orientation Leader at baggage claim for escort to the shuttle. (Shuttles will not drop off at any off campus locations).
Day 3 - The RRO airport shuttle will run from 11:00 am - 03:00 pm. The shuttle will run between Hulen/Clement Residence Hall and the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport every half hour. Meet an Orientation Leader in the residence hall lobby for escort to the shuttle. The last shuttle leaves at 3:00 pm.
Parking
One Day RRO Sessions (January, May, July, August)
Students attending a one day RRO session will need to park in the C17 parking lot and take the provided shuttle bus to the Student Union Building.Parking lot C17 is located at the intersection of Indiana Ave. and Texas Tech Parkway. It is located in section 2D of the Parking Map.
Three Day RRO Sessions (June and July)
Students attending a three day RRO session will need to park in the Z3 parking lot. Parent and family members may also utilize the Z1 parking lot. Parking lot Z3 is accessible from 19th Street between Boston Ave and Flint Ave. It is located in section 3D of the Parking Map. Parking lot Z1 is accessible from Glenna Goodacre Boulevard between University Ave and Akron Ave. It is located in section 4B of the Parking Map.
Parent and family members not staying on campus will need to park in the Z3 or Z1 lots while visiting campus during RRO.
