Degree in Content Area (such as Math, English), Minor in Secondary Education OR Degree in General Studies (will need to take additional content courses for certification)

Note: Texas needs great coaches – but coaches must teach a subject (English, history, math, etc.).  Plan to major or specialize in the teaching field.
