Expectations
It is important that participants commit themselves to attending all WLP sessions and small group meetings to make the most of their experience. Their participation in this program is both an honor and a responsibility. As a woman, a student, and an individual, their contributions to the discussions and activities are critical to the quality of this experience not only for themselves, but for the other participants as well. In many ways, the success of this program depends upon each participant's commitment. As with most of life's valuable opportunities, the more each woman commits oneself to this experience, the more she will take away from it.
Program expectations include:
- Attending monthly leadership
- Attending WLP group and family socials. Attending these events allow you an opportunity to make new female friends and receive the support in your attempts to become effective students and leaders.
- Attending new learning opportunities through the WLP Passport Series that will enhance your current understanding on women, diversity, civic engagement, and leadership.
- Get involved on and off campus when you feel that time is right.
