Welcome to the “Foreign Subsidies Database” compiled by the Cotton Economics Research Institute at Texas Tech University. The purpose of this database is to compile, organize, and present information and data on domestic subsidies and trade restrictions on key agricultural product producing countries around the world. These data are based on publicly available information. For a list of references, see here We attempt to update these data every two years. The last update was April 2009, and all data are as current as possible as of that date. We will be updating the database again in spring 2011.
