Research Interests

Dayong Wu is a Ph.D. student from China. Before he came to Texas Tech University, he received his master degree from Utah State University, with the specialization in structural engineering. Currently, his research interests focus on the field of transportation engineering, which include but not limited to:

  1. Risk management of critical transportation infrastructure systems;
  2. Risk assessment on material deterioration of transportation system components from a structural engineering perspective;
  3. Risk-based lifetime performance of transportation infrastructure systems under uncertainty and life-cycle optimization of system management;
In addition to his research, Dayong works on a range of traffic analysis and design projects in Trans Tech Lab (TTL), Texas Tech University.
