- September 2001 Received North American Thermal Analysis Society (NATAS) award for outstanding achievement in thermal analysis (sponsored by Mettler-Toledo)(Highest award of society).
- July 2001 Elected Vice Chair of Gordon Research Conference on Elastomers, Networks and Gels. Served as Vice Chair for 2003 Gordon Conference and served as Chair of the 2005 meeting.
