  • September 2016: Sriram and Fardin win the Raider Red Award for Outstanding Peer-Reviewed Journal Paper (given by Society of Plastics Engineers Student Chapter and Department of Chemical Engineering, Texas Tech University) for their paper on structure of water in swollen polyacrylate gels. Congratulations Sriram and Fardin!!
  • September 2016: Current grant from TXDOT on the topic of asphalt properties is extended for 2.5 more years.

The title of Michael's poster was "Simulated Annealing Polymerization: A General Algorithm for Preparing Atomistic Model Structures of Amorphous Polymers."

  • July 2013: Dr. Ronald C. Hedden and Dr. Rajesh Khare were awarded a three year, $639,929 grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) through the Designing Materials to Revolutionize and Engineer our Future (DMREF) program. Their funded project is entitled, "DMREF: Combinatorial Methods to Enable Rapid Prototyping of Pervaporation Membranes for Bio-alcohol Recovery ”.
  • July 2013: Ketan Khare wins the poster competition at the Polymer Composites and High Performance Materials organized by the Division of Polymer Chemistry, American Chemical Society (ACS) in Santa Rosa, California.
