Sanderson Scholarship
Bill and Mabeth Sanderson provide another freshman scholarship
Bill Sanderson, a chemical engineering graduate of 1960, and his wife, Mabeth Sanderson have started another $8000 a year scholarship for TTU chemical engineering entering freshman students.
Funds are to be used to provide scholarship support to entering freshmen students majoring in Chemical Engineering at Texas Tech University. The recipient must have a high SAT/ACT score, have financial need and be (preferably but not necessarily) from a diverse background. The award is $8000 per year for four (4) years with satisfactory progress towards a chemical engineering degree. The recipient will be selected by the scholarship committee of the Department of Chemical Engineering and will be approved by the Department Chair. To qualify for this, students must submit their resume and a two page essay detailing why they should receive this scholarship.
