500 MHz NMR Spectrometer Service Request Form

The Varian UnityINOVA 500 is a two full-band channel instrument with Z-gradients capability and a waveform generator on channel one. Two 5 mm pulsed-field-gradient (pfg) Varian probes are available. The indirect probe is used for high sensitivity proton observed work. This probe has a limited temperature range of -20 C to +80 C. The switchable probe is used for nuclei in the range of 15N to 31P, and routine proton. This probe has a temperature range of -100 C to +150 C. A FTS Systems temperature controller is used to provide precise temperatures from -20 C to +80 C for most work. The host computer is a networked Dell Precision T5810 workstation running CentOS6.8 operating system and VNMRJ 4.2 NMR software. This instrument was purchased in 1999 through funds made available from the National Science Foundation (NSF).
