Varian Unity Inova 500 MHz Spectrometer
The Varian UnityINOVA 500 is a two full-band channel instrument with Z-gradients capability and a waveform generator on channel one. Two 5mm pulsed-field-gradient (pfg) Varian probes are available. The indirect probe is used for high sensitivity proton observed work. This probe has a limited temperature range of -20 C to +80 C. The switchable probe is used for nuclei in the range of 15N to 31P, 19F, and routine proton. This probe has a temperature range of -100 C to +150 C. A FTS Systems temperature controller is used to provide precise temperatures from -20 C to +80 C for most work. The computer system is a networked Sun Ultra 10 running VNMR 6.1C. This instrument was purchased in 1999 using a NSF grant.
