This event will take place at the Texas Tech University Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Transportation will be provided.Biodiesel fuel has gone from homemade to a commercial enterprise with more than 1,000 retail pumps nationwide. This workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to make their own biodiesel fuel from cooking oil and will discuss the advantages, disadvantages and prospects of this and other renewable fuels.
