About Our Institution and Area

Texas Tech University, being located in Lubbock, is situated in the West Texas region of the legendary State of Texas. The people of the area are noted for being very friendly. The climate is usually mild, with mild winters and beautiful summers. The area also receives a great deal of sunshine, even during winter.

Texas Tech University offers an exciting, active campus life, with over 28,000 enrolled students, many from other nations. IEP students have many wonderful opportunities to meet Americans, make new friends, and constantly practice English. Plus, we're certain that your stay at Texas Tech in the Intensive English Program will also build memories that will last a lifetime.

Professional Instructors, Friendly Mentors

All CMLL Intensive English Program instructors are professionally trained and have worked extensively with international students from all over the globe. They are skilled in providing superb instruction in English as a Second or Other Language, and bring a uniquely personable character to our program. You will find them knowledgable, professional and friendly.
