Study in Russia—A Unique Immersion Adventure

Program Description

The Texas Tech Summer Russian Language Study Program in Moscow offers students the opportunity to study Russian in an environment of nearly total immersion in the language. The program is designed to serve students at all levels of Russian language study, from absolute beginners to advanced. The specially planned curriculum offers intensive small group instruction as well as individualized tutorials in the areas of Russian grammar, composition, conversation, phonetics and intonation, newspaper reading, and literature. The cultural program is designed to offer the student unforgettable impressions of Russian hospitality and culture.

  • Four weeks of intensive language instruction
  • Room and board with Russian families or in a dormitory
  • Services of Texas Tech resident director

  • Post-travel program to St. Petersburg
  • All instructional materials
  • Pre- and post-session diagnostic testing
  • Six units of Texas Tech credit
