ConocoPhillips Academic Success Bridge Program
The ConocoPhillips Academic Success Bridge Program is a program for entering freshmen that provides study skills training, academic preparation, tutoring, mentoring, and other academic support services. The program offers courses based on a student's results from the Texas Tech chemistry, mathematics and physics placement exams. The Bridge Program starts the summer before a student's freshman year, and continues through the first year at Texas Tech.
E-Coach
E-Coach (College Optimal Advisor and Career Helper) is a tool designed to help students with choosing classes, scheduling, and course evaluations.
Quick Scheduler
Quick Scheduler is a tool designed to help students develop a schedule of classes that best suits their needs.
TTU Career Mapping
Texas Tech provides a service similar to E-Coach and Quick Scheduler through the Advising Center. There is also a tool that helps students choose a career that best fits their aptitudes.
Tutoring Schedule
The College of Engineering Tutoring Center is available to assist studnents with Freshman and Sophmore Engineering Classes include Math, Science and Physics for FREE! The Tutoring Schedule is available here and is located in Petroleum Engineering Room 119. Additionally the P.A.S.S. Learning Center offers tutoring in some engineering disciplines, as well as all math and science. For tutoring in specific engineering courses, contact your professor.
Co-ops and Internships
Co-ops and internships enable students to get work experience while working on their degrees. This experience is very valuable in getting a job upon graduation. For more information, visit the Co-op site.
