Research
The College of Engineering at Texas Tech University performed about $12 million in sponsored research in the 2005 academic year and we expect a substantial increase in funded research in the next few years. The college is nationally and internationally recognized in many areas of excellence in which we have high-quality, well-developed research programs. In addition to our areas of excellence, the faculty and graduate students perform basic and applied research on numerous engineering and computing issues of national interest. Our faculty members are committed to research and pride themselves on cultivating future engineers who will impact society by contributing to new scientific discoveries.
