Admissions & Transfers
The Whitacre College of Engineering has the same admission requirements and procedures as the university. Once students are granted admission to the university, they can choose Engineering as their major. Refer to the Standards and Requirements for more information on specific application issues.
Engineering is a discipline that requires a strong background in math and physics. Therefore, students interested in engineering should prepare themselves by taking advanced math and physics courses in high school and have aptitudes in both.
