Randy L. Broiles retired in 2018 from ExxonMobil after 39 years of service. At retirement, he was the Vice President, Africa, for ExxonMobil Production Company appointed in February 2014. In this position he led and was responsible for all activities related to ExxonMobil's production businesses in Africa.

Prior to the Africa portfolio, he held the the position of Vice President, Americas, for 3.5 years. Aside from having responsibility for all production related activities in the U.S. and Canada, he contributed to consolidating heritage ExxonMobil producing assets in the U.S. with those held by XTO.

Prior to relocating to Houston, Randy was President, Imperial Oil Resources and Senior Vice-President, Imperial Oil Limited for five years, based in Calgary. In that position, he contributed to progressing the Kearl Oil Sands development and building new, material business positions in Western Canada.

Randy joined ExxonMobil in 1979 as a process engineer in South Texas and has held positions of increasing responsibility for almost 40 years, in the U.S., Canada, and Nigeria. These positions included various technical, commercial, and planning responsibilities as his career advanced through increasing international line management responsibilities.

A native of Texas, Randy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University and an MBA from Texas A&M University in Kingsville. He is married to Cindy, with one daughter and one grand-daughter. Randy is a multi-engined, type-rated pilot and aside from aviation greatly enjoys SCUBA diving, hiking, and international cultures.
