Students Utilizing Their Talents

The Whitacre College of Engineering has a long tradition of providing students with an excellent education. However, our students know that their studies are only part of the equation. They have to be able to be able to apply what they’ve learned in the real world. That’s why we go the extra yard to inform students about the opportunities that Co–Ops and summer internships can provide. We have two main vehicles for promoting our students. The first is our semi–annual Job Fair where students can connect with companies looking for talented graduates. The second is our Job Grid where students can perform an online search for those same opportunities. We also provide training to help our students format their résumé, search for a job, and do well during the interview. We post the dates for this training on our Events page. Please take the time to see all the services that the EOC provides, and be sure to inform your students about all the resources available to them.
