  1. Make an Appointment with an Engineering International Program Advisor
  2. Attend a Study Abroad Office Info Session
  3. Meet With Your Engineering Academic Advisor
    • Ensure the course(s) for your program coordinate with your degree plan.
  4. Choose a Program and Apply Online!
  5. Complete Your Application and Commit!
    • Submit all application materials and formally commit to the program.
  6. Attend a Mandatory Pre-Departure Orientation
    • Different programs have different dates, so check with your advisor about dates.
  7. Go Abroad!
    • Enjoy your international experience and keep in touch!
  8. Attend a Professional Skills Workshop
    • Provided in collaboration with the Career Center, this workshop helps students articulate their experiences, and incorporate their international skills into a job résumé, interview, or application. Attend after you return in February or September.
  9. Stay Involved!
    • Find out how you can help others go abroad.
