	Combined Bachelor’s and Masters Degrees (150-hour Dual Degree Programs) The Whitacre College of Engineering provides a 150-hour dual degree that allows students eligible for graduate school to earn both a B.S. and a M.S. degree with approximately 150 hours. Students are allowed to use graduate work that closely matches the subject requirements of the undergraduate degree to substitute for undergraduate courses. Students should contact their department for details about the curriculum. Students interested in this program must apply to the Graduate School prior to taking graduate courses. Early planning and contact with the department advisors is essential because in some cases students may be able to connect undergraduate research experience to their thesis work in graduate school.
