Prospective Graduate Students
Tuition and Fees
At Texas Tech University, we don’t think that graduate study should require the financial resources of a small nation. Our nationally ranked graduate programs will give you the knowledge and experience that you need to master your particular area of study at a reasonable cost. Check out our Tuition Page for per–hour tuition and fees based on your residency status.
Assistantships and Fellowships
At the Whitacre College of Engineering, we provide many opportunities for you to get involved and work with the material you’ll be learning. You can help to prepare, deliver, and grade class material and assignments through a teaching assistantship, or get hands–on in the lab through a research assistantship. Both positions lower tuition rates and may include additional compensation for your work. Professors and departments do their best to work around your class schedule and ensure that your education comes first. Head on over to our Assistantship and Fellowship page, or contact your department advisor for more information.
We understand that graduate school is a big commitment, and some students need help paying for their education. Tech University and the Whitacre College of Engineering offer merit and need based Scholarships and make it easy for you to apply for all university and federal financial aid. Just go to http://www.financialaid.ttu.edu/, and you can apply for federal, state, and university aid all in one place. Also remember to contact your individual department advisor for additional department specific aid. If you need help, we’ll find a way to get you what you need.
