I am a sophomore Journalism major from Austin, Texas. I chose to pursue my education at Texas Tech University, in order, to take advantage of the excellent staff and facilities. Also, I relished the chance to follow the legacy of success that the alumni have established, particularly in the College of Media & Communication. My interests consist of sports, reading, writing, and anything else in the artistic realm. I enjoy getting to know people of various backgrounds and fields, and then to achieve a common goal with those individuals is the greatest success in my eyes. This summer I will be working at the Austin Convention Center in number of roles, but mainly with the IT staff. My dream is to someday work for ESPN as a reporter, broadcaster, or producer. However, I would love to work with any other major news organization, and I would pursue my work with the same sort of passion and vigor.
