My name is Zachary Haber and I am a Senior Public Relations major from McKinney, TX. I entered college as a pre-pharmacy student, but soon thereafter, I transferred into the College of Media & Communication.
Being a PR student at Texas Tech has taught me some fundamental life lessons that I know I would not have learned in any other major or at any other university. Without the help from the college and the faculty members, I would not have had as much success as I do now. I have previously worked as a marketing and public relations coordinator for an off-campus student-housing complex, and now I currently work with a private public relations consultant as her intern.
After graduation, my plan is to enter into law school to study family, juvenile, and divorce law.
I currently serve as the Recruitment Chairman of the Sigma Nu Fraternity, an Associate Justice of the Texas Tech Student Government Association Supreme Court, and, of course, the Vice-President of the CoMC’s Dean’s Council. I am also an active member of Tech PR and Colleges Against Cancer.
