Gregg T. Holmes earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1976 from Texas Tech University.

As senior operating officer, Holmes has had profit and loss responsibility at three major communication companies. He has a strong record for improving profitability and customer service by increasing market share; improving the sales/marketing process; raising employee productivity, satisfaction and commitment; and operating in highly competitive market segments. He founded a consulting firm serving a variety of start-up/early stage companies.

Since 2012 he has worked for the Valley of the Sun YMCA in greater Phoenix, Ariz., and has been the vice president of operations. Beginning in 2000, he worked at LK Enterprises Inc., in Scottsdale, Ariz. From 2009-2011, he worked at Cooler Concepts of Chandler, Ariz., where he helped to secure five new patents for the company and negotiated key nationwide sports licenses with the NFL, NCAA and NASCAR. From 2006-2009, he worked for DiCOM Grid, Inc., of Phoenix, Ariz., The company provided patent pending healthcare technology to the medical imaging sector throughout the United States. From 2002-2006, Holmes worked for Stardust Company/Initiatives, of Scottsdale, Ariz. From 2000-2002, he worked for WHO International Designs of Scottsdale, Ariz., where he secured a patent for one of the primary products offered by the company.

From 1981-2000, Holmes worked for the Times Mirror/Cox Communications Inc., in Atlanta, Ga. The multi-billion dollar communications company provides video, voice and data-related products and services to residential and commercial customers in 18 geographic clusters serving 6.2 million customers. He was vice president and general manager for the operation in Phoenix, Ariz., where he was responsible for serving more than 600,000 customers in 31 communities. He managed 2,400 employees.
