I graduated from Tech in May 2011, and spent my last year in the EMC program working as a part-time graphic designer CEV Multimedia. After graduation I joined the company full-time as a member of the marketing team, producing marketing material and working with a national sales team. Recently, I've been helping to create and implement a marketing plan for a new product.
James Hodgins graduated from Texas Tech University College of Media & Communication with a bachelor's in Electronic Media & Communications in December 2005. He is currently the section coordinator for internal communications at Texas Tech. In this position, James manages and oversees the university's communications efforts as they relate to current employee engagement and talent support. He is also responsible for updating and managing the university calendar, Events@TexasTech, and the Texas Tech Board of Regents online newsletter, The A List. In addition, James is a part-time instructor in the College of Media & Communication teaching Ad Writing.
Honeycutt began his college career earning his Associate of Arts degree in Radio, Television, and Film from South Plains College in Levelland, Texas. While going to school at SPC, he began an early career with news media working for KCBD News Channel 11 for more than 5 years as a Photojournalist, Associate Producer, and News Content Specialist. While attending SPC, Honeycutt decided to transfer to Texas Tech's College of Media & Communication; he graduated in December, 2011. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Electronic Media & Communications, Visual Communications.
Honeycutt is now working for the Texas Tech School of Law Library's Information Technology department as the Courtroom and Multimedia Coordinator. He specializes in audio/video technologies for the law school, and has many years of experience with technical troubleshooting and repair.
Honeycutt's most memorable experiences are storm chasing all over the Texas South Plains and Oklahoma, filming and documenting tornadoes and other types of severe weather.
Austin Jones earned his bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from Texas Tech University in 2003. After working in advertising for 8 years, he joined the team at Experience Life to continue his passion for creating high quality media. Every day you can find him shooting & editing video, designing motion & still graphics or coding web pages & applications.
Jordan's Electronic Media & Communications BA from Texas Tech University laid the foundation for a career in interactive media production, which he has been involved in since the day he graduated. Digital Base Productions brought him on as an intern in 1999, and after receiving his diploma in 2004, he was brought in full time to design and code websites and other interactive media. In 2005 he married another Mass Comm graduate, Cassie Showalter, and last year they welcomed their first baby boy.
I graduated with my EM&C degree in May 2011. While there I co-founded TTASEM along with Anthony Palagi and Calvin Schellbach.
I work for United Supermarkets in their marketing department. My primary focus in marketing is working on our loyalty card program for our 6 DFW Market Streets.
