Alan Albarran

Dr. Alan B. Albarran is Professor and Chair of the Department of Media Arts at the University of North Texas, in Denton, Texas. Dr. Albarran previously served as Director of the Center for Spanish Language Media at UNT from 2006-2012.
 

Sabine Baumann

Prof. Dr. Sabine Baumann is Professor for Media Management and Economics at the College of Management, Information, Technology at Jade University in Wilhelmshaven, Germany. Before rejoining academia as Professor of Business Administration and Media Management at Wedel University she worked for Bertelsmann, Germany’s largest media conglomerate, in various positions including Director of their Content Management Competence Center.
 

Bruce Goerlich

As a self-proclaimed “thinkologist,” Bruce Goerlich puts his more than 30 years of media research savvy to use every day working with Rentrak’s Research, IT and Operations teams to build and evolve the big data research machine behind Rentrak’s powerful rating systems.
 

Betsy Idilbi

After running Little Idea, a physical product development company, through a successful merger with Enventys, Idilbi and cofounder Richard Simms launched Tech Talent South, a code immersion program that teaches web development fundamentals in 8 weeks. In under 2 years, TTS has expanded from 1 campus to 6 (Charlotte, Atlanta, Raleigh, Asheville, New Orleans, and Dallas).
 

Todd Knowlton

Todd Knowlton is an accomplished entrepreneur, consultant, and author. Since 2001, he has been president and co-founder of Smooth Fusion, a digital strategy and web development firm serving marketers and marketing agencies.
 

Greg Lowe

Professor of Media Management at the University of Tampere in Finland, Greg is also President of the European Media Management Association (2012-2016) and Continuity Director of RIPE, an international initiative focused on developing research and practice in public service media for the 21st century.
 

W. Russell Neuman

W. Russell Neuman is Professor of Media Technology in the Educational Communication and Technology Program at NYU. He served as a Senior Policy Analyst in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy working in the areas of information technology, broadband policy and international security.

Josh Pasek is Assistant Professor of Communication Studies and Faculty Associate in the Center for Political Studies at the University of Michigan. His research explores how new media and psychological processes each shape political attitudes, public opinion, and political behaviors.

Asta Zelenkauskaite

Asta Zelenkauskaite is Assistant Professor of Communication at Drexel University. Her research includes the intersection between social media and mass media. Dr. Zelenkauskaite’s research focuses on understanding online user behaviors, user-generated content contribution, content selection practices, and value extraction by utilizing theoretical frameworks of interactivity, gatekeeping, and Big Data.
