Undergraduate courses: Public Relations Campaigns, Public Relations Writing and Tech Transition.
Graduate courses: Critical Analysis of Public Relations, Foundations of Persuasion in Strategic Communication, Seminar in Strategic Political Communication, Seminar in Relationship Management, Public Relations Problems and Cases and Integrated Communication Campaigns.
Research: Dr. Seltzer is the author or co-author of more than forty journal articles, book chapters, published proceedings and conference papers. His research has appeared in Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly, Public Relations Review, Journal of Public Relations Research, International Journal of Strategic Communication, PRSA's Public Relations Journal, Social Science Computer Review, Journal of Sports Media, and International Journal of Sport Communication. He has presented his research at the annual conferences of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, the International Communication Association and the International Public Relations Research Conference. His research interests include organization-public relationship management and agenda building within the political communication context.

Experience: Dr. Seltzer has worked professionally in public relations, political campaigning and public administration. Currently, he is engaged in communications consulting for the health care and corporate sectors. He previously taught communications courses at the University of Florida, the University of Central Florida and Gulf Coast State College.
Leadership / awards: Dr. Seltzer is a member of AEJMC and ICA. He won the 2005 Ketchum Excellence in Public Relations Research Award from the Institute for Public Relations. He has also received the Texas Tech Alumni Association New Faculty Award, the Bill and Avis Ross Mass Communications Faculty Achievement Award, and the TTU President's Excellence in Teaching Award. In 2012, Dr. Seltzer was named a Texas Tech Integrated Scholar by the Provost's office.
