 Classes Taught: Visual Communications (MCOM 2300), Introduction to Electronic Media (EM&C 3310), Broadcast Programming and Promotions (EM&C 3340), Analyzing Television (EM&C 3345), Writing for Series Television (EM&C 4370), Writing for Feature Film (EM&C 4375), Critical Studies in Mass Communications (MCOM 5330).

Research: Media criticism and history with an emphasis on television analysis. Published one co-authored book and many journal articles and book chapters.

Experience:Served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army.

Leadership / awards: Former member of Governing Board of the American Culture Association and TTU Faculty Senate. Current chair of SOMC Technology Committee.
