Research: Author of "A Meditation of Fire: The Art of James C. Watkins." First author and photographer of the forthcoming, "West Texas Women Artists: From the Panhandle to the Big Bend." Co-author of "William Curry Holden: The Legacy of a Visionary." Photographs are in the permanent art collection in Texas Tech's Experimental Sciences Building. Published writing and photography in numerous chapters, publications, art catalogues and magazines.

Experience:Twenty-five years of experience as a writer, editor, journalist, creative author, photographer and artist. Founding editor of Vistas (1991-2005) and Archways (2005-2007), at Texas Tech University. Former president of the national University Research Magazine Association (1997-2002).

Leadership / awards: Participated in individual and group juried exhibitions as an artist.
