Kristina Woods Butler
Senior Editor, Research Communications
Kristina is the senior editor for research communications at Texas Tech. She works directly under the Vice President for Research and is responsible for research communications and developing content for the Vice President for Research Web site and subsequent sites.
Kristina graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in English and a minor in music. She worked as a production assistant at HealthNet before moving to KLBK-TV/KAMC-TV, where she spent more than six years working as editor, photographer, producer and eventually assignment manager for the news department.
Before moving to her current position, Kristina spent two years as a Web content developer in the Office of Communications & Marketing, where she developed content for Texas Tech Today Daily News, the Texas Tech Today monthly e-newsletter and the university Web site, as well as designed Web pages for Texas Tech and wrote feature stories for Texas Tech Today.
