Lori Cortez
Media Relations Intern
Lori Cortez is a media relations intern for the Office of Communications and Marketing. Her responsibilities include writing press releases, features and media advisories.
Lori is a senior undergraduate student majoring in marketing with a minor in mass communications. She is from San Antonio and also plans to pursue a law degree from Texas Tech School of Law. She is a member of the Mentor Tech organization and Phi Kappa Phi honor society. She has a passion for old literature and enjoys reading Tolstoy and Tennyson. Although she believes she was born in the wrong time period, she is an active user of Twitter and loves learning about new media.
