Texas Tech Board of Regents Officers Announced
Scott Dueser and Larry K. Anders will now lead the Board of Regents.

The Texas Tech University System Board of Regents today (June 28) elected F. Scott Dueser, chair and Larry K. Anders vice chair, respectively. They will serve two-year terms.
Dueser, who had been elected vice chair of the board in May, succeeds J. Frank Miller III, who passed away June 1.
Dueser, of Abilene, was appointed to the board on January 26, 2004. He is a 1975 graduate of Texas Tech with a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting. He is chairman of the board of First National Bank of Abilene and president and chief executive officer of First Financial Bankshares Inc.
Anders, of Plano, was appointed to the board on March 21, 2005. Anders is the chairman and majority owner of Summit Alliance Cos., an independent investment advisory and financial services firm in Dallas. A Lubbock native, Anders attended West Texas State University on a football scholarship before attending Texas Tech University.
