Valero Alamo Bowl Sets New ESPN Ratings Record
The eyes of Texas and the nation were on the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Saturday night as the 2010 Valero Alamo Bowl matchup between the Red Raiders and the Michigan State drew a 5.6 television rating, making it the most watched bowl game in ESPN history.
The 5.6 television rating translates into 5,553,630 homes. The Valero Alamo Bowl broadcast rating ranked No. 1 among all ESPN bowls and will finish as the seventh highest rating among all bowls across on all networks this season trailing only the five BCS games and the Capital One Bowl. [more]
