Business Receives an "Energy" Boost
Merit Energy Company donates $35,000 to the Rawls College of Business to establish accounting scholarship endowment.
A $35,000 donation from Merit Energy was presented to Rawls College of Business Administration Dean Allen McInnes to establish an accounting scholarship endowment in the college. Merit’s president, Robert Matajek, is a 1983 graduate of Texas Tech.
Merit Energy officials are planning to hire more of Texas Tech’s accounting graduates in the future. This scholarship will enable Merit to recruit Texas Tech students more effectively.
