Alumni such as Peggy Maxwell (L) and Linda Fuller (R) organize volunteers from Dallas and Fort Worth area alumni chapters to assist admissions staff at college fairs.

Have fond memories of the inviting campus atmosphere, of a professor who inspired or challenged you or a roommate you still keep in touch with today? Join the Techsan Connection and share those experiences with potential Texas Tech students.

The Techsan Connection is a joint effort between the Office of Admissions and the Texas Tech Alumni Association to unite volunteers to support and promote Texas Tech. Through Techsan Connection, the Office of Admissions hopes to connect enthusiastic alumni, parents and friends of Texas Tech with future Red Raiders.

By becoming a Techsan Connection volunteer, you have the opportunity to shape the future of Texas Tech. In lending your talents and strengths as a volunteer, you may:

  • Refer students to Texas Tech
  • Represent Texas Tech at Area College fairs
  • Attend/Host Receptions
  • Attend Prospective Student Events
  • Attend Freshmen Sendoffs

Volunteers stay informed of basic admissions information through materials provided by the Office of Admissions and the Alumni Association.

Your involvement, no matter how great or small, will have a tremendous impact on the lives of our prospective students. You may be the reason a student chooses Texas Tech!
