Holiday Gift Ideas
Written by Chad Elrod
You don't have to fight the crowds this holiday season because the Alumni Association has many different gift ideas for your friends and family. All proceeds go towards the Texas Tech Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.
The Official Texas Tech Class Ring
The Official Texas Tech Class Ring would make a great gift for any graduate of Texas Tech. The Official Texas Tech Class Ring is a tradition that has been brought back from the 1950s. This ring evokes special memories of the occasions and traditions of Texas Tech: the “Fight Song” sung at the stadium with the Masked Rider going hell-bent for leather along the sidelines, Raider Red giving fans the “Guns Up” and firing his shotguns and the unforgettable images created during the Carol of Lights where the red, white and orange holiday lights cast their spell over the campus. The ring is a symbolic, continuous link with classmates, friends and generations of alumni.
To order an official class ring, visit www.TexasTechRing.org or contact the Alumni Association at (806) 742-3641.
Texas Tech Merchandise
The Alumni Association also offers a wide variety of clothing, gifts and merchandise for Red Raider fans of all ages through the Tech Traditions Gift Shop. To purchase your Texas Tech holiday gifts you can go by Tech Traditions housed in the Merket Alumni Center located at 17th and University or visit them online at www.TechTraditions.net.

This holiday season, why not give that special someone a permanent gift with a personalized courtyard brick, bronze paver, stone walkway marker, stone parkway bench or a cornerstone marker.
These permanent markers may be inscribed with your name or they may be purchased in honor of your child's or relative's graduation, as a memorial to a friend or to recognize others.
