Present

You do not have to fight the crowds this holiday season because the Texas Tech Alumni Association has many different gift ideas for your friends and family. All proceeds go towards the Texas Tech Alumni Association Scholarship Fund!

The Official Texas Tech Class Ring

The Official Texas Tech Class Ring would make a great gift for any graduate of Texas Tech. The Official Texas Tech Class Ring is a tradition that has been brought back from the 1950s. This ring evokes special memories of the occasions and traditions of Texas Tech: the “Fight Song” sung at the stadium with the Masked Rider going hell-bent for leather along the sidelines, Raider Red giving fans the “Guns Up” and firing his shotguns and the unforgettable images created during the Carol of Lights where the red, white and orange holiday lights cast their spell over the campus. The ring is a symbolic, continuous link with classmates, friends and generations of alumni.

To order an official class ring, visit www.TexasTechRing.org or contact the Texas Tech Alumni Association at (806) 742-3641.

Texas Tech Legacy Program

A legacy is defined as any child that is lucky enough to have at least one parent or grandparent who are current members of the Texas Tech Alumni Association.

At different stages of childhood, legacies will receive gifts to remind them that they are a part of the TTU family. Gifts will be mailed to the address listed for the Legacy. Please make sure your information is current. Each Legacy participant will receive a welcome letter and gift, a personalized membership card, annual birthday greetings, exclusive gifts and invitations to Legacy events throughout their membership. Legacies may participate in the program from birth until they are 18 years old or graduate high school.

The TTAA member must maintain their Century Level (or above) membership annually for the child or grandchild to continue to receive the benefits of the Legacy Program. An additional fee may apply for those with 10+ children/grandchildren.

That is right, the program is FREE for TTAA members who have joined at the Century Level ($100) or above!

All legacy gifts are age appropriate and therefore cannot be retroactive.

The official launch date for the Texas Tech Legacy Program is January 2010. If your child or grandchild enrolls in the Legacy Program between Sept. 1, 2009 and Jan. 1, 2010, and their birthday falls during those months, they will receive both their introductory gift and birthday gift in January.

To register, please complete and submit the online form. We will have sign-ups available at all 2009 Football Pregame Parties at Frazier Alumni Pavilion. For more information, please contact Sarah Klimek at 806.742.3641 ext. 251 or e-mail sarah.klimek@ttu.edu.

*Legacy introductory and birthday gifts should begin shipping January 2010. For legacies to receive each gift on schedule, the sponsor must stay current on their association membership dues. All gifts are age appropriate and cannot be retroactive.
