Alumni Highlights
The Texas Tech Alumni Association will honor the class of 1960 at this year’s 50th Class Reunion. This year’s class reunion will take place from Sept. 2-5. A block of tickets for the Texas Tech vs. SMU football game on Sept. 5 will be available.
The 50th Reunion is an annual, three-day event that provides attendees the opportunity to come together with classmates and rekindle friendships.
Peggy Pearce, director of special events, explained that the reunion is a chance for the class to reunite, reminisce and observe the academic and architectural progress that has been made on the Texas Tech campus.
Reunion events include sessions designed to impart information about the university, a campus bus tour guided by the Visitors Center and social gatherings. The chancellor and president of the university, executive vice president and CEO of the Alumni Association, and others are to provide informative segments during the various events.
A group photograph is made prior to the last day’s luncheon, which culminates the activities.
A detailed schedule will follow soon. Please contact the alumni association if you would like to be involved in planning or hosting the reunion.
